The Recertification course is open to graduates of all wilderness medical training courses of 64 hours or longer with a current Wilderness First Responder certification. Successful graduates of this course will receive Wilderness Medical Associates’ Wilderness First Responder, Anaphylaxis, and BLS/Healthcare Provider-level CPR certifications. WMA WEMT graduates with a current EMT-B or Paramedic certificate may also recertify the wilderness portion of their WEMT with this course.

Huntsville Courses 

$625 for 4 day courses, $580 for 3 day courses includes home cooked meals and tent camping on site.  If choosing to commute, you can bring your own lunch, or hot lunch is available for $12/day.

Option A – Stay-on site in the comfortable shared accommodations for $35 per night.  Enjoy the peace, tranquility, and history, of the Crieff Hills Retreat & Conference Centre staying in one of the historic homes located on the more than 200 acre site. With cozy common areas, fireplaces, and easy access 6+ km of nature / hiking trails, this will not only be a learning experiences, but a nice retreat as well.

Option B – Commute  From: Toronto (Nathan Phillips Square) – 80km – Approx. 1 hour, Hamilton – 30 km – 25 minutes, Kitchener / Waterloo – 35km – 30 minutes, Guelph – 23km – 20 minutes

Food

Bring groceries to prepare your own meals in the equipped kitchen (stove, fridge, microwave, kettle, pots, pans, cutlery).

MHO Adventure will supply coffee and tea.

Grocery stores, restaurants, cafès, pubs, and eateries are located in Guelph, about a 20 minute drive away.
