I really had no idea what to expect (although I was very excited leading up to it!) but this week was just amazing. I learned so much from Jake and Micah and had a great time with everyone on the trip. This was definitely just the first of many more whitewater trips in my future as the rapids are so much fun! Wonderful guides: Joey and Anna. Continuous swifts and Class 1 - 3 from Bonaventure Lake to Chaleur Bay were lots of fun. Unbelievably clear water! Thoroughly enjoyed getting to know fellow paddlers from Canada and the US, and being able to take along my 7-year old grandson. Equipment was first class. Meals were excellent. Weather cooperated. Thank you MHO for my 6th trip since 2010. Will be back for more another summer....

It was honestly one of the best weeks I've ever had with my children and I hope it inspires them to a life of canoe tripping. We are already talking about next year (Missinaibi? Moose?)
Feedback on the trip is almost entirely positive. Food was excellent. We appreciated the variety, complexity, and daily baking. Good meals go a long way to keeping a crew happy and you guys nailed it. Gear (except that my paddle was short) was all first rate. Guides were top notch. Logistics smooth....

First Aid Training
As a Licensed Training Provider with Wilderness Medical Associates International (WMA), MHO Adventures offers Wilderness First Aid and wilderness medical courses in Huntsville, Ontario, from 16–80 hours, as well as private group training at your location or ours.
New this year: Our WFA, WAFA and WFR courses include WSIB-approved Intermediate Workplace First Aid certification. Successfully complete your course and receive both your WSIB certification and WMA certification, as applicable.
