Temagami is a vast swath of land, nearly 2000 square kilometres, in Northern Ontario. As far as protected areas go, this region is a unique blend of Provincial Parks, Conservation area, and crown land. Join us as we travel through the Chiniguchi Waterway Provincial Park and the Wolf Lake Old Growth Forest – Forest Reserve, home to the world’s largest stand of old growth Red Pine. Wolf Lake is renowned for its clear blue waters, white quartzite cliffs, and the many canoe routes that pass thought this area of Temagami.
While this area is protected from forestry, there is still the threat of mining that haunts this unique ecosystem. Come travel through this wondrous landscape of old growth forest and show your support by visiting the Save Wolf Lake website.
