Home to the world’s oldest stand of red pine old growth, the Temagami wilderness is second to none. The rugged terrain is the perfect location to challenge oneself both mentally and physically and be rewarded with pristine lakes and astonishing views.
You can expect to travel by canoe and on land through historically rich areas, meet elders and see ancient pictographs. As far as protected areas go, this area is unique as it is a blend of Provincial Parks, Conservation areas and crown land. Learning the history of how this area developed and the future of the environment will round out this already incredible journey.

Just wanted to thank you again for an amazing trip. I speak for all of us when we say we had the time of our lives on the Missinaibi. Our MHO guides are responsible for this. Not only were they great guides in every sense of the word, but they were first class chefs, amazing teachers, and tons of fun to be around. Every one of us has said how much we miss them since finishing the trip.
