Program Overview
Ready to take your flatwater skills to the next level? Join MHO Adventures for a two-day hands-on whitewater experience designed to build confidence, control, and a love of moving water.
This weekend course takes place at Palmer Rapids on the Madawaska River, where our Paddle Canada–certified whitewater instructors will guide you through a progression of skills — from fine-tuning basic strokes and maneuvers to navigating exciting Class II rapids by the end of the weekend.
Our Intro Tandem Moving Water Course focuses on developing a strong foundation in whitewater paddling, emphasizing technique, safety, and river reading. Participants will also have the opportunity to earn their Paddle Canada Intro Moving Water certification.
The course runs from 8am on Saturday until 4-5pm on Sunday. Camping Friday night is included, no dinner provided.
