Program Overview
MHO Adventures specializes in canoe instruction courses.
This one day course combines the Basic level 2 & 3 skills. We will cover knowledge, safety and skills in tandem canoes.
Topics include: equipment knowledge, selection and care, safe canoeing procedures, self-rescue, canoe over canoe rescues, entering and exiting, balance and trim, pivots, sidewards displacement, paddling straight line, stopping, lifts and carries, changing positions, inside and outside turns, circles and landings, outdoor precautions and more.
