Born and raised in Toronto, Kiera has always looked forward to her next escape north of the city. Growing up she spent her summers at YMCA Camp Pine Crest, which sparked her love for being outdoors, but most importantly being in a canoe. Kiera’s passion for canoe-tripping has since taken her across the country, from the Yukon to Labrador. For the past six years, she has worked as a canoe guide and outdoor educator, while also completing her degree in Environmental Science at Dalhousie University. After spending the winter exploring New Zealand, Kiera is excited to return to Canada and join the MHO team on the river!
